Roger Louis Gange was born to Olga and Harold Gange in Bereford, South Dakota on January 10, 1937. He passed away in Hanford, CA February 26, 2015 after a six month battle with cancer.
He graduated from Royal Oak Dondero High School in Royal Oak, Michigan. He joined the U.S. navy for four years, came to Corcoran in 1960 and married Linda Sue Trivitt on June 24, 1961. The marriage was blessed with one daughter Joell Paige Gange.

Roger was a top supporter of youth sports in Corcoran for many years. He started the annual Pizza Factory boys’ tournament and provided two scholarships to high school seniors each year. He also initiated a reading program for elementary schools.
Roger was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks American legion, V.F.W. and the Lions Club.
He worked for Boyett Chevrolet and Lakeland Dusters and owned Pizza Factory for 10 years.
Roger was a recipient of the Kings County Peace Officers Association award in 1993 and was also named Corcoran’s Man of the Year in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olga and Harold and his daughter, Joell.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; granddaughter Avalynn Sue Masuda Gange of Hanford; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Norma White of Corcoran; sister, Mary Karkuri of Grand Rapids, Michigan; brother, David of Clearwater, Florida; and many friends and relatives.
