Graveside services were held Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Corcoran District Cemetery for Roger Wayne Shannon, who died October 5, 2018 in El Dorado Hills, Ca.
Shannon was born in Leechville, Arkansas and his family moved to the Corcoran area in the early 1930’s. “Wayne” as he liked to be called grew up in Corcoran, worked on farms in the area, and even married his high school sweetheart. They then moved to San Jose and finally to El Dorado Hills where he passed peacefully in his home.
He is survived by his wife Patsy; daughter, Susanna Tator; his sons, Roger Wayne Shannon Jr. and John Shannon. He also has three grandchildren and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
