Mass services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Ruben C. Flores, 88, who died in Hanford Jan. 30 with family by his side.
Mr. Flores was born Aug. 8, 1926 in Santa Ana to Jacinto Flores and Mercedes Chavez Flores. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for the J.G. Boswell Company as a warehouseman for 40 years. Ruben was married to Jennie M. Escobedo Flores for almost 70 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie; and children, Ruben Flores, Jr., Beatrice Rodriguez, Rachel Lerma, Gloria Amezola, Jennie Garcia, Richard Valle and Sandi Gutierrez; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Louise Valle.
Visitation is set for Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 3-6 p.m. at the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel in Corcoran. Rosary will also be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Following mass services on Wednesday, interment will be held at Corcoran District Cemetery.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel in Corcoran.
