Ruth “Pauline” Smith 91 passed away Oct. 28, 2021 in Visalia, CA.
Pauline was born Sept. 3, 1930 in Arcola, Mississippi to Clarence and Inez (Hodge) Hearn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl M. Smith Sr., and three sons, Karl M. “Mike” Smith Jr., Eric Patrick Smith, and Stephen Emil Smith.
She is survived by two daughters Mary Caroll AZ and Erin Gilbert (Darin) Corcoran, CA. Pauline had 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was a proud mother and grandmother. She was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of Women on Wheels (WOW). Pauline was also a long time member in Y.L.I. and Las Damas AZ. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their Diamond S. Ranch in Corcoran, CA. Pauline and Karl also owned and operated Karl M. Smith Inc. and Corcoran Machine Shop in Corcoran.
Services were held at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Service, Tulare CA. Nov. 5, 2021 at 11 am. Pauline was buried in St. Peters Cemetery Fresno, CA.
