Coaching girls’ basketball has given Corcoran High Coach Doug White many things. It has given him 15 league titles (11 consecutive titles), 10 section championships-the most in section history—and now it has given him is 447th win to claim the record of being the Most Winningest Girls’ Basketball Coach in the Section.
Chamber and Farmer’s Lumber Mixer
The Corcoran Chamber of Commerce and Farmer’s Lumber will host a mixer next Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 5-6:30 p.m. The community is welcome to attend.
Chamber honors
The annual Corcoran Chamber of Commerce banquet is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28. The event will be held at the RAC gymnasium and will honor this year’s winners who include Man of the Year Jim Razor, Woman of the Year Linda Sharp, Jr. Citizen of the Year Jana Rowe and Organization of the Year the Corcoran 4-H Club.
