SpringFest 2016 will be held Saturday, May 21 in downtown Corcoran at 3 p.m.
The event will provide plenty of family entertainment including the Aftershock car, truck and motorcycle show, A chili and salsa cook-off, plenty of food and craft vendors and music and dancing to the sounds of Mr. Rude.

Over 400 vehicles are expected for the Aftershock truck, car and motorcycle show.  Vehicle registration forms are available at the chamber office at 1040 Whitley Avenue or by calling 992-4514. Pre-registration is $25 and registration day of the event is $30. Set-up time is between 3-5 p.m. Judging begins at 5 p.m. and awards will immediately follow.
T-shirts can also be pre-ordered for $20. Car show information and forms can also be obtained at www.itdontstop.com.
Have a great chili or salsa recipe? Enter the chili and salsa cook-off. Entry fee before May 16 is $35. Teams must consist of at least two members with a maximum of six.
Awards will be given for Best Decorated Booth and Best Team Name. Awards will also be given for  first place for Best Chili, Best Chili with Beans, and Best Salsa in both Judges’ and People’s Choice categories. For an entry form and a list of chili and salsa competition rules and regulations visit the Corcoran Chamber office. Team signups will be taken through Monday, May 16.
Bingo will take place in the Veteran’s building with great prizes available.
And food and craft vendors will be on hand selling their wares. A beer and wine garden will be open during the entire event and there will be live music from Mr. Rude.
Mr. Rude has performed all over the state of California and can be heard every Friday night at Rookies in Visalia.
Singing lead vocals for the band is Gary Rude. The band, which plays rock and country music, has been playing for 28 years.
