The Corcoran Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 2016 SpringFest which is schedule for Saturday, May 21 in downtown Corcoran.
The event gets underway at 3 p.m.
Over 400 vehicles are expected for the Aftershock truck, car and motorcycle show.
There will also be a chili and salsa cook-off. Those who attend can also take advantage of the wonderful food booths and buy items from craft vendors, who will line Whitley Avenue.
Bingo will take place in the Veteran’s building with great prizes available.
A beer and wine garden will be open during the entire event and there will be live music from Mr. Rude.
There is still plenty of time to enter the chili and salsa cook-off. Early bird entry fee through April 20 is $25 per team. Entry fee after April 20 and before May 16 is $35.
Teams must consist of at least two members with a maximum of six. Awards will be given for Best Decorated Booth and Best Team Name. Awards will also be given for first place for Best Chili, Best Chili with Beans, and Best Salsa in both Judges’ and People’s Choice categories.
