Stanley (Stan) Laurence Parkey

Stanley (Stan) Laurence Parkey, 64, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2016.
He was born on April 19, 1952 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. During his childhood, he lived in several states including Oklahoma, Utah, Idaho and California. He spent his adult life in California, in the cities of Visalia, Fresno and Clovis.
He graduated from Corcoran High School and California State University, Fresno with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy.
His career was in sales of agricultural and construction equipment. Stan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and golfing. He was a fan of rodeo and country music.
Stan was preceded in death by his father, Wade Parkey. He is survived by his mother Nina Coon of Texas, his sister Judith Watts and David of Texas, his brothers Ronald Parkey of Oakhurst and Keith Parkey and Julie of Clovis, his children Derek Parkey and Jodi of San Marcos, Lisa Niehaus and Karl of Los Angeles, Brandon Parkey and Bryanna of Visalia, his grandchildren Kyla and Addison Parkey, and Jayden and Miles Niehaus, the mother of his children Kathy Guinn of Visalia, and his companion Kathy Hutchinson of Fresno.
Services will be on Monday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Little Church on the Hill, Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, California.
