Stephen Vasquez Bonilla passed away peacefully July 9, 2015 in Hanford, California at the age of 71.

Stephen was born to Frank V. Bonilla and Victoria Vasquez Bonilla and was born in Faben, Texas on September 2, 1944. His family brought him to Corcoran at the age of 10 where he has remained his entire life.   
Stephen retired from Boswell as a cotton gin manager after 36 years.  He was a longtime member and devoted servant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  He served his community in many ways including being a long-time advocate for the local wrestling programs. 
Mr. Bonilla is survived by his children, Steve Bonilla Jr., Gabriel Bonilla, Veronica Sanchez, Ramon Arreola and Christopher Bonilla; siblings, Joe Bonilla, Yolanda Gonzalez, Frank Bonilla, Bertha Gomez Bonilla and Ernie Bonilla; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Combined rosary and mass services were held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
