Services were held Tuesday, September 3 at New Life Tabernacle Church for Sylvia Ruth Lam, who was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on August 30, 1933. Sylvia died August 27 in Hanford.
Ruth worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 18 years and she was a longtime member of New Life Tabernacle Church in Corcoran.
She is survived by her children, Sylvia Goldsberry, Caroline Hodge and James Lam; and six grandchildren.
Following services, interment was at Porterville Public Cemetery District in Porterville.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel.
