Move over Danica Patrick, Katey Syra of Corcoran just may be racing against you one day. Syra, 12, of Corcoran started riding quads and dirt bikes when she was three-years-old. She moved up to go-karts and got a few championships under her belt when she was eight. This year Syra began racing a 600 Micro Sprint.
“I have the need for speed and competition,” Katey said. “This is my first season racing a Micro Sprint and it’s been very exciting. I have several sponsors and family members that help make my dream possible.”

Syra’s dreams of making it to the Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa, Oklahoma which will be held in January 2016.
“I am hoping that with the continued support of my family and sponsors that I will be able to represent the community of Corcoran in Tulsa and make them proud,” Syra commented.
