Three local residents found themselves under arrest after things apparently went south during a party Saturday night.
Officers responded to the 2100 block of North Ave. at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday, after reports of a fight. When police arrived, Adrian Osorio, 20; Martina sealy, 22; and a 17-year-old female juvenile were attempting to leave the scene.
Officers attempted to contact the trio, but all three refused to cooperate and began delaying officers’ investigation of the matter. When officers tried to detain the three, they became resistive and combative, assaulting officers and vandalizing patrol units.
Kings County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene to assist local officers and ultimately all three suspects were arrested.
They were charged with the following offenses: obstructing/resisting a peace officer, felony vandalism, battery on a peace officer, obstructing and delaying a peace officer and providing false identification to a peace officer.
During the incident, one officer was punch in the face twice and another sustained injuries to his leg after being bitten three times.
Osorio and Sealy were transported to the Kings County Jail in Hanford and the juvenile was booked into the Kings County Juvenile Center in Hanford.
