Three people have been arrested in the Halloween stabbing of a Corcoran man.
Frank Huerta, 42; Vanessa Guzman, 33; and Nahiely Diaz, 31; have all been charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and robbery. All have been booked into the Kings County Jail with bail set at $11 million each.
Police received a call on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2:04 p.m. to the 1600 block of Dairy Ave. for a report of a stabbing victim. They found the victim, 42, suffering from several stab wounds. Witnesses reported seeing the suspects fleeing from the scene.
Following up on leads, the department found the suspects. Diaz was arrested Monday, Nov. 2, in the 1600 block of Dairy. Guzman was found in the 1300 block of Whitley Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Huerta was picked up the same day in the 1700 block of Osage Ave.
It is believed the victim knew the suspects and was lured to the location where he was attacked. He was seriously injured and remains in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
