Services were held for Tommy Joe Salgado, who was born April 28, 1937 in El Centro, California to Antonio and Virginia Salgado. He passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Hanford at the age of 80.
He and his family moved to Kings County in 1946. He met and married his loving wife Lillie, to their union were born Tommy Jr., Jess and Monyca. They were married 54 years. Tommy was a hardworking man. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Tommy enjoyed western movies, fishing and hunting, going to the casino but especially enjoyed family gatherings and being with his grandchildren. Tommy is survived by his wife Lillie; children, Tommy Jr. and wife Janice, Jess and husband Michael and Monyca Salgado Kassner and husband Karl. He is also survived by two brothers, Tony Salgado and Steve Salgado; his grandchildren, Kirk Kassner, Kyle Kassner, Kevin Kassner, Angelica Salgado and Gabrielle Salgado; and great-grandchildren Caleb and Kaylee Kassner; numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
