Two armed robbery suspects are still being sought by local police.
According to officers, the department got a call on Monday, Aug. 1, at 3:30 p.m. from the GTS Insurance and Tax Service company, located just off Whitley Ave. in the 1100 block of Chase Ave. reporting the crime. The GTS employee stated two black adult males entered the business wearing hooded sweatshirts and brandishing a handgun.
The employee said the suspects demanded money and then left the business. Both were last seen on foot outside the building. A customer was also in the business when the robbery took place, but no injuries were reported.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
