Merchants participating in The Spirit of Corcoran Museum Walking Tour can now be identified by wood plaques located outside of each location.
Beginning in June, the new signs will serve as a marker for those interested in taking the growing tour. To participate in the walk, stop by the Chamber of Commerce and pick up a passport, which will serve as a guide through out city’s history. Each merchant will then stamp the passports and at the completion of all locations visited, the passports can be redeemed for Corcoran Cash.
The committee is also continuing work with businesses in order to expand the tour. Currently, Native American artifacts are needed for completion of a new location. Please contact Lisa Shaw at 992-4514 if you are interested in donating or loaning any items.
