Six members of the Corcoran Freestyle Wrestling team will be traveling to Pocatello, Idaho June 21-27 to represent California at the Western Regionals.
Western Regionals includes competitors from Hawaii, Alaska and the Western Region. The local wrestlers will compete in three tournaments in three days with three different wrestling styles. The boys who qualified for the tournament include Brock Rogers, Manuel Madrid, Aaron Panduro, Joe Romero, Gabriel Salcedo and Edgar Hernandez.
The team is currently seeking sponsorships to help offset travel costs, tournament registration and for wrestling gear.
